Our Work

Center for Victims of Torture

Together with Perkins + Will, Fluid Interiors helped the Center for Victims of Torture (CVT) create a new workplace, giving employees a productive space to help torture victims rebuild their lives.  Before consolidating into one location, CVT worked out of multiple residential houses that didn’t offer collaboration, access to daylight, or flexibility—all amenities offered by their new space.

Fluid Interiors designed and installed 60 workstations, 10 private offices, seating, conference tables and ergonomic accessories and offered pro bono services for the project.  Employees at CVT were excited and proud to have consistent product throughout their new space rather than disparate, disconnected furniture.

"Our new consolidated office space not only brings people who were previously located miles apart into a single building, but also fosters collaboration across departments through an open office work environment and an expansion of conferencing spaces of many sizes.  We have also gained a much needed large gathering space to hold all staff meetings, fundraisers and training sessions which previously required space rental."

- Curt Goering, Executive Director, CVT
