Sustainability

Fluid’s Sustainability Vision:

Fluid Interiors will be a sustainable company; we will strive to reduce the environmental impact of our people, the products and services we provide, and the spaces we occupy.

Sustainability isn’t just a trend for us - we want to do the right thing.   Fluid Interiors has taken multiple steps to evaluate and improve our internal processes (like recycling and banning plastic water bottles) and our facilities (such as purchasing energy-efficient appliances and residing in a LEED – EB O&M certified building). We’ve undergone multiple audits, including a Minnesota WasteWise sustainability audit, to fine tune our efforts.

Our operations team is upheld to the same sustainability standards in the field.  We plan our daily deliveries to achieve the most efficient routes, minimizing our carbon footprint.  On site, our technicians reuse and recycle as much packaging as possible from product shipments.  Whenever possible, used product is either repurposed or broken down and recycled.  Upon the completion of installations, our technicians clean the furniture using green cleaning agents and reusable rags.

When it comes to incorporating sustainable requirements into your project, Fluid has multiple LEED Accredited Professionals on staff who can help you select the right solutions to help you achieve LEED Certification.
