Fluid Interiors values giving back to the Twin Cities community through industry associations, local non-profit organizations, and Fluid-orchestrated events.
People Serving People
Fluid Interiors partners with the International Interior Design Association each year in support of year People Serving People, a Minneapolis shelter that provides housing, meals, and rehabilitation services.
Over the past few years, Fluid Interiors has also partnered with industry associations in support of One Heartland and the NFL Alumni Association’s Minnesota chapter.
Habitat for Humanity's A Brush with Kindness
A handful of Fluid employees joined IIDA Northland in their community outreach efforts, volunteering to help A Brush with Kindness, part of Habitat for Humanity, repaint a St. Paul home. The owners of this home are a married couple who have lived in their St. Paul home for the past 19 years, but have been unable to maintain upkeep due to the wife’s medical conditions.
Feed My Starving Children
Fluid Interiors volunteered to hand pack meals at Feed My Staring Children, a non-profit organization that donates meals to malnourished children throughout nearly 70 countries around the world.
Very Special Teacher Event
Haworth hosted a Very Special Teacher contest to award a new teachers’ lounge to several deserving teachers. Jenni Muras, a physical education teacher at the Lakes International Language Academy in Forest Lake, was nominated by her peers. Jenni was chosen for her contagious enthusiasm, her ability to inspire not only students but other teachers, and her commitment to transforming monolingual English-speaking students into multilingual global citizens through a dual foundation of Spanish (Jenni’s specialty) or Chinese.
Operation Glass Slipper
Operation Glass Slipper (OGS) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing prom gowns and accessories, free of charge, to high school girls in the metro area whose financial circumstances make it difficult to attend prom. Fluid Interiors used a company truck, along with Fluid volunteers, to transport dresses from drop-off locations to Operation Glass Slipper’s central location.
